When I am reading the story, the student will have to place their Pea on the board that has the letter. Once they pic a word related to the letter, they will have to drawl a picture of how they would sue the word or describe the word.Īnother creative way is having all of the different Pea's and each student will get a Pea with a letter. Using the alphabet, the students could pick a letter and find a word that starts with the letter they choice. This could be used for a wide variety of grade levels. It gives many different words choices and provided a descriptive word to describe the word related to the letters presented in the story.

Other Info-This is a very appropriate book for introducing words relatable in the alphabet. The pictures int he book are also what drawled my attention too. There are simple word, but challenging words too which makes it good for a variety of grade levels.

I like how it just doesn't show the letter and give a word to match it. Personal Response- Personally, I thought this book was super cute and I will have it in my future classroom. At the end is says,"So many possibli-Pea's" on how to use words from the alphabet. It provides pictures of the Pea's completing the task, along with a picture of the letter too. It give s a story of a Pea's life using all of the letter in the alphabet. This story is about Pea's that do different task related to a letter in the alphabet. Summary- This alphabet book is directed towards young learners, but could be used for developed learners too.
